The Premiere-Hour One

So the premiere just ended and I have to say that it was good to have Bones back. Here’s my recap/opinion for Hour 1. I broke it down by hour because there was a natural end to the 1st before the second. Hour 2 will be up later tonight or early tomorrow depending on how quickly I write the paper I have to.

HOUR 1

Angela, Hodgins, and Graysen

Whoa. Angela’s husband is hot! He is charming, attractive, sensitive, and every other redeeming quality. But, he isn’t Hodgins! When Angela first kissed him, I kept waiting for her to wake up but she never did. Quite a hello/goodbye kiss. If I were Hodgins, I’d feel a little insecure about it. But, it did end happily after he finally agreed to the divorce. But, I feel like this won’t be the end of his invasion of Angela & Hodgins’ life.

Bones, Booth, and their British Twins

The dynamic between these four is amazing. Booth and Bones find a pair that supposedly are their British counterparts, but Ian and Pritch don’t even seem to like each other that much. Love gone bad? . Will Bones and Booth realize that they have something “special”? Booth actually tells Bones that she is “special”! How awesome is that? And decided not to sleep with Ian because of Booth. Not that we haven’t seen these feelings before, but it’s good to see them again! Any kind of progress is good progress in the case of Booth & Bones.

TO BE CONTINUED…

Hodgela

The amazing Searching Bones has an article that quotes “Watch With Kristin” concerning the future of the Hodgens/Angela/Birimbau (aka Angela’s husband). Apparently in season 4, Sean Blakemore will be playing this role. Check out the article.

TJ Thyne

Searching Bones has a great interview that was published in Men’s Fitness. It’s short but sweet. Enjoy!

Upset-ness

So I know how we are all kind of upset about Zack being discovered as Gormogon’s apprentice. On a neat website called Searching Bones, there’s some info that you might find interesting, including an interview with Bones creator Hart Hanson. It’s a great interview that provides some interesting insight into Bones. There’s also a letter from Eric Millegan (Zack) that provides some interesting stories about how he discovered his storyline and the fate of Zack. The final piece of information is a recent article written by Bones fan, Jamie Frevele, titled “In Defense of Hart Hanson”, which is a defense for the decision to include this HUGH plot twist in the show and how the fans are reacting. Enjoy!
